Continew is a fully-featured ecommerce web package. Products may be priced in UK pounds, Euros and US dollars, with currency conversion tools to help you maintain the appropriate international pricing.
Visitors can add your products to their shopping cart, can alter quantities and remove items. Continew supports non-registered users: they do not need to maintain an account on your site in order to shop. For registered users, shopping carts are stored between sessions.
A shopping history page is maintained for registered users (non-registered users can automatically retrieve their purchase details using their invoice number).
A sophisticated sales report tool allows you to view sales transactions for particular promotions, partners, dates and products.
Continew has a comprehensive discount and promotion manager. You can set promotions such as percentage discount, or "Buy three, get cheapest free". These may be applied to specific products, for certain dates and may work with or without promotional codes. Promotional codes maybe tracked to judge the success of your marketing campaigns.
The discounts and promotions tool is integrated with the Affiliates and Partners tool.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to get people to publicize your products, and Continew automatically tracks all visitors who came from affiliate sites. Continew allows you to build discounts and promotions for your sales affiliates and your partners. Partners may have their own page on your site, allowing you to cross-promote their products.
For deeper relationships, you can offer a range of white-label affiliate sites with your partner's branding appearing on a private version of your site.
Access to ebooks, downloads and online subscriptions are handled automatically without any intervention required from your team. Online subscriptions may be gifted to other users by the buyer when they have bought multiple-licences. Physical product orders are emailed to you for fulfillment. Back-office integration via XML / EDI feeds are available as an optional extra.
By default, Continew credit card handling is managed via Paypal. Paypal offers numerous advantages, including real-time commerce, VAT calculation, multiple currency support and first class security. Other credit card clearing solutions can be supported as an option.
